How it Works |
|
|
|
GoldenSeconds.com utilizes a proprietary auction system that
allows advertisers to post video clips and compete for exposure on the web site.
The pricing model is based on the maximum amount that an advertiser
is willing to pay for each second of their video clip, hence the name – GoldenSeconds.
Anyone can post a video clip on GoldenSeconds by signing up and paying
the starting fee of $1 per second. Once a video clip is posted through
the web site, advertisers have the option of increasing the bid amount
per second of video footage to improve their exposure on the web site.
Here are the steps to sign up, post a video and increase
exposure.
- Step One - Register on the site.
Please remember to include all of the required fields. You will
be able to login and change your account and video information.

- Step Two - Upload your video and information.
The following video formats are compatible with our web site
(mov, avi, swf, fla, mpeg, mp4). If you are unable to upload
your current video file, please try using a file converter. To
obtain one of these please conduct a web search.
- Step Three - Specify your bid amount.
The default per second charge is $1. This will ensure a spot
on GoldenSeconds site for a minimum of 12 years, but will be
placed at the end (though it will appear before videos placed
after it at the same bid amount). If you want to increase your bid, change the current bid price and hit the "preview location" button. If you are satisfied with the placement of your video, hit "confirm price" button to continue.
- Step Four - Confirm video and and pay for seconds
Verify that your video is viewable and the information you input is correct. After this you can confirm your video page and pay for the seconds.
